This diamond skull created by Damien Hirst was sold for $100 million this past week to an investment group. The Skull is a cast from a 35 year old male but retains his original teeth. (ew!) The skull has over 8,000 diamonds on it, including a very pricey pink diamond centered on the forehead. The Skull took $20 million to make and was put on sale over the summer. The investment group plans to put the skull on a world wide museum and gallery tour. After that it would probably be used in Hamlet in the Hood, or my super sweet 16 hamlet themed party.
