Well you can maybe find what you need on September 21, in New York as Sotheby’s is having an auction of Arts of Buddha. The Top item on the auction block is expected to be the gilt copper maitreya [pictured below] which is inset with silver and semiprecious stones. The two foot statue dates back to 13th Century Tibet is estimated to sell for $3.5 million to $4.5 million.
